Okay, so I've been out and away for far too long!
Today was a rough day...so I really just need to pause for a moment and reflect on all the many blessing in my life. First of all, I was so spoiled during my little holiday break...I was fortunate enough to be able to visit my Daddio in Utah! I brought my lil brother with me as a surpirse for his 50th birthday...love my family-even though we are not all in the same place. Isn't it wonderful to think that we chose our family before we came to Earth...I love each and every member of my family more and more everyday-flaws and exceptional qualities alike. They are extraordinary!!!
Christmas was a generous one...my hubby spoiled me (and I returned the spoiling). I love my little Nook Tablet...its so much fun to pick it up and read whatever I feel like! Although if any of you out there know how to download the scriptures let me know...I'm having troubles. We spent time with both sides of the family and were enjoying the love.
School started back up...and I must say the first day back I just had this sense of belonging...like that is exactly where I was supposed to be. My students are mostly economically disadvantaged, and my heart smiles every time I see the lightbulb go on or they talk to me about their day. Hopefully one day I will be able to have children of my own whom I can delight in those same little joys.
Lastly, I am so grateful for my husband. He has been out of town since the Friday before New years...and I have sure missed him. Luckily I have been able to talk to him everyday...and I've really appreciated the time he has taken out of his hunting trip to small talk with me, to ask me about my day, and to tell me how he wished I could be there to see how beautiful it is...it just makes me feel so special.
Here is to a New Year of super awesomeness and the not so sweet things...I am going to choose to embrace life one day at a time.

1 Friendly Remarks:
