New Years Eve Hermit

So, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I have spent all day deep cleaning our apartment...much needed organization going on here! This could be a great way to end each year by purging all the junk and less needed items around. Seeing as how this could prove difficult to do if we actually lived somewhere with snow. Today it was like 70 degrees outside--craziness, I tell you! It just isn't right, although today I appreciated this wonderful weather. Chris just got back this evening from a 4 day hunting excursion. He brought home some great meat that we can use all year long (such a provider he is). Sorry to those of you who don't wish to hear about hunting :( Anywho, I put away all the Christmas decor and finally got pictures on the walls! We moved into our apartment the first week of school, so time has not been available to do these things. Since we will be hanging out at the apartment tonight, we went to the store at about 10 pm to get some Lil Smokies, Cheese Cubes, and Martinelli Apple Cider...hardly anyone was there. The lady that was checking us out said it was crazy busy around 7pm and people were not very nice. We told her thank you and how we understand how mean people can be. She smiled and told us that we made it worth working tonight...how sweet and so glad I have a friendly hubby. So, Happy New Year! 2009, here we come.
