By the way, in the picture of Chris the shirt says "Your daughter is in good hands." I thought this was funny, but its oh so true.

100,000 Miles...
I just have to say that I am so grateful for an awesome husband who knows something about cars (that's not the only thing he knows about, but at this particular moment its great!). My little Honda Accord has been around for quite awhile now--1999 and we just celebrated its 100,000 mile mark. Anyways, I have not followed the maintenance schedule to a tee, but slowly I am making sure to get it all done (with Chris' help, of course). Yesterday night I was attempting to leave work, but my car would not start! Of all the days...it had already been a long one. Finally, my car started, but I knew I had to do something. I called Chris at work and complained of how it probably wouldn't start the next time and immediately he got on the phone with his Dad to make arrangements to have my car worked on the next morning. Chris does not like mornings, but he woke up at 7:30 am (when he didn't have to be to school until noon) and took my car to change the spark plugs and buy a new battery. Not only did we save tons of money (dealerships charge a fortune for basic things), but he had me my car by 11 that morning! What service! I was so impressed, but better yet he was so proud of himself. I just think it is so cute when your husband does something "manly" for you and they feel so proud! You can't help but smile...and I love him even more for it!
By the way, in the picture of Chris the shirt says "Your daughter is in good hands." I thought this was funny, but its oh so true.

3 Friendly Remarks:
Tiff!! Hey, it's Brooke (Aegerter) Stevenson. I found you through Heather's page. I swear she finds everyone. I heard that you got married. Congrats!! You two look very happy. How is your family?
My family is great. John is getting married this summer and Allie will probably get married this fall. Clark is on a mission. Did you know Ben or had you guys already moved before he was born? He just turned 8 and keeps my parents young. How is your Mom? Please tell her I said hi.
Ah, yeah for Chris being all manly. I totally remember Ryan doing some work on my car when we were first married and I was so impressed.
