Well. I have finally decided to start writing a blog daily to keep family and friends updated. As most of you know, Chris and I were married in August. We had been dating since high school, and finally decided to 'tie the knot.' This slow step couldn't have had better timing, honestly. We are both blessed to be in a wonderful place in our lives and look forward to the journey ahead. We are working on balancing our new start together and the next step in our own individual choices. I finished school last summmer, and Chris is still working towards his degree. We hope to make some important decisions within the next year!
Currently, we have two dogs, Toby and Ally, who keep our days exciting. There is never a dull moment and for now they are enough chaos for the both of us.
For instance: A couple of days ago, Chris had set aside a pair of earplugs next to the bed. You see, he needs these on occasion in order to get a good nights rest (with my allergies so bad...I snore if I don't take my meds, I know...poor Chris). Well, it turns out he doesn't need the ear plugs, because my meds works (yeah!). We leave for work...blah, blah, blah. We are once again preparing for sleep. As we are sitting there and I am reading the scriptures aloud, Chris notices that his earplugs are missing (he tends to sometimes get destracted during scripture study). We finish up and then start looking for the earplugs...only to find one; we go to bed. Next day Toby goes out on the back porch and has a stomach ache...we find the earplug on the back porch. The other ear plug is now missing.
To shorten the story, I walk Toby at our apartments and we have to clean up after our dogs...yup, its in there...in his business. The poor thing had eaten both pieces! Luckily he was okay, but wow, really...ear plugs!
