Trip Down Memory Lane...August 25

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
So here are tons of photos from 2000-2011...




We have shared so many great memories from all of our time together.  From fishing at the coasta, youth conference, first dates, time away at college, time at the river, being engaged, being married, being sealed in the San Antonio Temple, and most recently our wonderful trip to Colorado (our first time flying together).

This is our engagement photo from 2007.  The area behind my rental house was flooded and it looked just like a river-divine place for a picture at sunset! 

2 months early, Chris had asked me to marry him...at 6 am! He showed up to mine and Amy's (my sister) house...started playing a country song on his laptop called 'Please say yes.'  It was short, sweet, and perfect.  Right after that he had to go to work, so I just sat there is disbelief that it finally happened.  I was so excited...I ran into Amy's room to tell her.  She of course wasn't screaming with joy since I had just woken her up so early, but she smiled...that was good enough for me.  I stared at the clock until it was a decent hour to call all of my family to share the wonderful news. 

Here are the beautiful flowers that were waiting for me at home...with a sweet card.  This was a huge surprise, because Chris NEVER buys flowers.  We enjoyed a late dinner at Logans (I had a volleyball game) with plenty to talk about (crazy people were everywhere that night). 

Chris is my greatest blessing from moving to Texas.  I met him 6 months after I moved here...and he has been right by my side ever since.  There have been trials galore, but we have met each one of them head on with faith and dedication...I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am so glad to share my life with you Chris...love you!
