This year we decided that as a Christmas present to ourselves we would install new carpet...If you're thinking this room looks like such a man room...it is. I told Chris that if I could decorate every other room, I'd let him have this one. The curtains aren't purple like they look-they're the same color as the red in the flag. to a new TV. We haven't had but one old hunker of a TV since being married, so we thought it was finally time to buy a TV. I got it on black Friday, but it was considered a Christmas gift.
I couldn't help myself and found the 'Declaration of Independence' for Chris. It was his most favorite Christmas present ever...made my heart smile. Of course, what would his man room be without a few mounts.
Just an end note: we didn't spend a ton a money all at once...we just happened to install it all at once. I am not made of money...but I do like to spend it :) Since I teach and coach, and Chris works and goes to school...the only time to work on everything was during Christmas Break. We had the carpet installed two days before Christmas-CRAZY! I'm grateful that we were able to improve our house...and hopefully one day we will have our own little family to enjoy it! Now...down on to the kitchen...

Yeah we had to replace our dishwasher in our old house, and it was quite the experience. It kinda made a mess.
