After learning of this news, I was numb. During 4th period one of the b-ball girls who also plays volleyball fell onto her back during practice. Her feet were cut out from beneath her and she landed on her back. The EMS came and took her away on a board as she cried that it hurt. Sad day.
When I walked through the door of my home after work, a swarm of emotion came over me-and I cried. It felt good to let some of it out. I thought to myself-my home truly is my safe place from the world-so glad. Even better, I was just eating an avacado and the seed hit me in the face...have you seen how big an avacado "seed" is?

Hey...I'm so sorry! That is terrible! One idea about teaching that I love is that you can create a safe environment for your students...in your own classroom. A lot of these kids go through things we will thankfully never have to deal with. But you can always be a positive example in their lives.
I will keep my fingers crossed that it rains Saturday so you don't have practice!
Feel better!
I'm very sorry..that is a rough day. I think you must be an amazing teacher, you can just tell how much you really care about your students. I so agree about your statements on your home, I feel the same way about mine. How blessed we are to have a place that makes us feel so safe and protected.
Hey by the way, do we ever get to see pictures of your cute house.
Oh Tiffany, this breaks my heart! I am sorry dear. You are right about your home though. You are an amazing person.
Oh my goodness, I cannot even imagine what I would do! Seriously I think you are the best teacher ever....to hear how much you care about each of your students, it is awesome! They are so lucky!
Tiff, so sorry about your bad day...I can't imagine how hard that would be. The avacado thing is hiliarious though! It made me laugh out loud! Love you!!
