First Official Game

Our first "official" game was today. The team we played was the Kennedy Rockets. The first few innings were intense and I thought my girls handled the pressure well. The 3rd inning we really started to pull away and show good discipline at the plate. The Holmes Husky JV girls beat the Kennedy Rockets 10-6. Victory! Even better, my Dad came to my first real game as a softball coach...I felt more confident knowing he was there to support me personally (someone on my side). Now, I'm going to go to bed...long day and we have 7 am practice tomorrow (crazy, I know...not my idea).
