Th first two days of my vacation have been bliss!
Monday I decided to get my crafty vibe goin'...and revamp my coffee table and two lamps. My plans for the table are white, antiqued, and tiled. As for the lamps--canvas and sandollar. Stay tuned for pics when I am all finished.
Today Chris was off, so we made plans. He had a real estate class to attend early in the morning, so I slept in. Once he came home we decided to go to Seaworld for a few hours (took my camera, but it died in the car). We made a quick stop by my mom's house to patch Chris' swim suit (he didn't want to go and buy a new one...) and Shipley's for donuts and kolaches {yummy!}. Once we got to Seaworld (less $15 from parking) we decided to upgrade my Fun Pass to a year pass so that we don't have to pay for parking anymore. Chris was so hilarious at the counter...he was telling the lady to slip us a few meal tickets since she wouldn't refund our parking we just paid. She ended up giving us this cool waterbottle that only costs 99 cents to fill instead of buying a $3 drink everytime. The highlights for me: feeding and petting the dolphins {words can't explain my excitement, they felt like rubber!}, The Great White Roller Coaster, and standing in line for the Splashdown talking about segregation with Chris. The last one needs an explanation.
At Seaworld yu an pay extra for a 'speed pass' where you don't have to stand in line and go straight to the front. This happened several time on the Splashdown ride. Chris said that this was segregation. I asked him how so? The people who can't afford to pay extra to go to the front of the line are forced to wait in line, while those who have money can go to the front. True Chris. He makes me laugh! After we left we went to Chris' parents house and went swimming for awhile. We are home now, just chillin'. Good times, good times.

Seaworld I have not been to in forever, what a great way to kick off your vacation. Love the segregation comment that's the truth!!
Sounds like a great vacation...you deserve it after all of the work you have been doing with School!
We absolutely love Sea World too. We are going through withdrawals because we haven't renewed our passes this year. Petting the dolphins our one of our favorite stops.
Glad you survived teaching your first year. I'm sure you've been amazing!
