Chris-Turkey Connoisseur

So today we got up super early to watch Chris' little neice Cami(above) open presents at his parents house. She was so funny...Cami loves our two dogs and always asks about them. "Toby/ Ally?" She got this cute little horse that she can ride and bounce up and down and it moves forward...so neat! Anywho, while we were there, Chris mentioned that in order to get a moist, tender turkey-the breast should be covered with foil leaving the dark meat exposed since it takes longer to cook. His family obliged...and when it came turkey time-WOW! I realize that many of you may already do this, but this was my first. It was the most delicious turkey ever. Chris couldn't stop talking about how great his idea was and how yummy the turkey tasted--I agreed.
We had a great Christmas and I enjoyed watching my family open their gifts. My mom told us that we have always been this way...so excited for each other to open their gifts with excited reactions to each one. Chris and I have spent the evening chillin' at our apartment, opened our stockings, and gifts to each other. Can I just say that I have the sweetest husband ever. All of the things he got me (no matter how last minute {cough} Christmas Eve Day {cough}) were wonderful. It is also my Grandma Chatland's birthday, so Happy Birthday. I love you and miss you!

Glad you guys had a good day. I love watching people open their gifts to, far better than receiving. Good turkey tip by the way, I have never made one but I will remember that.
