As most of you know, I coach high school softball (I'm the assistant varsity coach). This weekend the Lady Huskies competed in the Northside softball tournament. On Thursday, we beat Steele with an 11-1 victory run-ruling them in the 5th. Friday morning was not our 'cup of tea' shall we say. The girls are not morning people...neither am I...or the head coach. It seemed liked molasses was glued to their cleats. We lost 7-6, but came back with a win against Highlands that evening 13-0. This afternoon we faced MacArthur-again, we spurred on to victory 10-0.
Since this wasn't bracket play, to see who won the tournament they went by record...we tied with Steele for overall record of 3-1. Next they went by total runs scored...thus FIRST PLACE for us! It was a successful weekend and I got a bit of sun :) I love this time of year!
In other news, I deep cleaned the downstairs...much needed. Tomorrow I will tackle my closet {hopefully}.

Yay for your weekend, the girls came out ahead, you got some sun....and deep cleaned your downstairs. That is a good feeling isn't it.
