Please let it be my Imagination...

Picture this. Queen size bed with a rigid used mattress and paper thin blanket. Lighting slightly tinted florescent green that looks like you are in a subway in Queens, NY {though I've never been I imagine it like this}. Furniture and parking lot straight from a CSI episode investigating a shoot-out at a hotel-you know what I'm talking about. Yes, I am at the Econolodge in Arlington, TX. Grose! A bug just crawled on my leg-I'm not joking! I canceled some reservations at a Motel 8 or 6- I can't even think straight now and came to this lovely place. I feel like I could open the door right now and I would be looking out on a stranded deserted highway with no civilization for miles. Thank goodness I am only staying one night--the door is double bolted, curtains are tightly pulled, and I am curling up with my own pillow and sweatshirt. Lesson learned: spend the extra 40 dollars to stay at a reputable hotel with luxury items (ie-fluffy 'know they're clean" towels). I don't know how I am even going to be able to sleep! The picture below does not do this place justice. There are a total of 4 other lights besides the scary green one, so I have them all turned on. **Update: I was here for a coaching clinic...sorry, I forgot to mention that**
On a lighter note, I decided to order in for this evening since--well, I don't want to be outside these doors after dark {rather, no where near the parking lot}. I located the nearest La Madeleine-who happened to be available for online order. As I was checking out, I saw that I could enter "Bonjour" for 25 % off my order. Perfecto! I found the nearest Red Box to rent myself a movie while I was out. Then to top it all off, when I picked up my order they said I had qualified for a free Mini Parfait Tiramisu. Even sweeter! Now if I can just get the creepy crawly feeling to go away...
