Aspire Higher

I don't even now where to begin. A couple days ago I was reading Jenny's blog and came across A Daily Scoop which is about a mother who lost her little daughter earlier this year. I was also amazed at her 'strength and insight.' While perusing her blog I came across yet another story. This story is one that has touched me deeply and caused much reflection on how I want to live my life. The name of the blog is Nie Nie Dialogues. You'll notice that I have several links on the sidebar to different causes for Nie Nie. I am in awe of Stephanie (Nie Nie). I am reading her posts prior to the incident and cannot believe how wonderful a daughter of God she is. I also cannot believe the events that have just happened to their lives. Recently the Nielsons (Stephanie nd Christian) were in a plane crash. The husband, Christian suffered burns on over 30% of his body and Stephanie suffered burns to over 80% of her body. They are still in critical condition (updates here, at her sisters blog). Each day since I have gone to this page, read a few post and either held tears back or just let them flow. There is a definite Spirit to this blog. Their pictures radiate happiness, admiration, and unconditional love. I just wanted to post this picture because it truly inspires me to work harder as a wife, one day a mother, and a daughter of God.
I am thankful for the guidance to this beloved blog and the lives which have made an impact on me forever. I hope that they are blessed for they have inspired many lives and they will continue to inspire many more. Please remember them in your prayers.

I am glad you did a post on this I saw this one too on the other blog and I am just so amazed at how strong some people are. I have not been able to stop thinking about either of these peoples stories this whole week. It is making me see everything so differently. If only we could all have such faith at hard times in our lives. I guess all we can do is just keep trying....

Tiff, I haven't seen your blog in awhile. It looks so darling! I too looked at Nie Nie Dialogues for the first time this weekend. Learning of an experience like hers really puts problems of our own into perspective. I keep thinking about her kids and how much she'll miss them when she realizes that she's away. It makes me hurt for her. I'll keep praying for that whole family.

Isn't it crazy the trials we are given in life, it is amazing to see what we are able to do when we are given a trial! This story is amazing, and it makes me realize what a stronger person I need to be also!
