Yeah for tomorrow! My hubby and I will be venturing to the Coast, Wednesday through Sunday. This will be my first real vacation since we've been married so I am super excited. We plan on fishing tons, visiting some little seashell shops, and chillin' at the beach. Really I have this great idea that I will run in the morning on the beach before we fish, but I don't believe that I will do that at all (nice as it sounds). Chris' whole family will be down there (maybe not one of his sisters and her husband-Ashley & Jonathan), so we will have lots of company. I love the coast because its so peaceful...so quiet with the water glistening. I hope to come home with a good tan, fish to eat, and fun house decor.

Just a question, if you go into a book store (Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc.), how long do you usually spend inside? Chris thinks that I am so strange because I can just wander around, look at books, pick up books to buy--then put some back later after I decide I don't want them anymore. I think I spend enough time in there to negotiate (with myself) the purchases for the day. Its the same at Target, Pottery Barn, etc. Please tell me I am not alone! :)
12 Friendly Remarks:
You are not alone at all. I could spend hours in a bookstore, there is just so much to see. And for us readers it is just heaven. You are so cute, that makes me smile. Have so much fun on your little vacation, that sounds like a blast. Take plenty of pics, cause I am sure it will be beautiful!!
Enjoy your vacation! It sounds SO nice; I'm jealous ; )
As for the Barnes and Noble thing: you are not alone. My problem though is that I seem to think of the store as more of a library. I usually pick up four or five or ten books and cozy up in a chair and read away. Then I decide which of the four or five or ten books I'm going to purchase. Well, that was the routine before little Gracie came along anyway!
Have lots of fun, that sounds like a great vacation. I don't even like to run but that would tempt me to run along a beautiful beach too. You are not alone I could spend hours in a bookstore browsing through all the books. In fact when I am bored I go there for fun. Maybe it's a girl thing.
I LOVE spending time in bookstores just browsing or reading or whatever. So as everyone else said, you are not alone on that one. Have fun on your vacation! Did you find a wedding announcement to use?
Yeah I do the same thing, except today I actually bought a book. Its that "bestseller" called "You the owners manual". I always thought it would be cool to learn how my body functions so I picked it up. Much cheaper at Costco!
All I have to say is.... No, you are NOT alone :)
I agree with everyone above. Me and Bryce can go there and seiously spend a good hour or two there. and I treat it like a library too. Who has $$ to buy all those books we want. I have a friend that acutally never bought a whole book she has read. She reads them cover to cover there. SO I say go there and enjoy. I hope that books tores will always be around. They are better than libraries! I get to read books that don't have boogers in them. That happens almost everytime I got one from the library, so I stopped going there. EW!
I love your new bog, it is so cute!
Yeah, not alone. I love roaming around in bookstores. Cute title picture! Have fun on your vacation. Nathan and I love to fish too... catch a big one!
Sounds like a great vacation! I love to go fishing, but I don't think I have gone for forever! Have so much fun! I can spend hours in any store just wandering! Book stores are especially interesting, who knew all the crazy stuff there is books about!
So, how was your wedding??? Jen and I laughed about it several times this week :-) And believe me, I've been considering moving back since I left for college! We've just got to convince Ryan that he doesn't need his stinkin mountains. Maybe if Chris will agree to show him all the good Texas fishing spots...
Tiff-It's Jessica Taggart! I have a blog at taggart2004.blogspot.com.
